AvaTradeGO Mobile Trading App Review
The AvaTradeGO Mobile Trading App is available for both Android and iOS devices, just like most online FX/CFD brokers. These apps have a similar look and functionality, offering access to over 250 tradable assets with leverage of 1:30 on some assets.
A notable feature is AvaProtect, a revolutionary risk management tool that protects clients’ trades from market risks. By paying a small initial fee, clients can safeguard their trades during a specified time, and AvaTrade will reimburse any losses on the protected trade. This feature is applicable to all FX pairs, Gold, and Silver.
The Android version is more popular, with over 500,000 downloads so far. Though there are some complaints about usability, technical analysis features, and broker practices, the majority of user feedback is positive. AvaTradeGO can be downloaded for free, taking up only 19Mb of storage. It also includes a practice mode option, allowing traders to test the app with virtual money before investing real funds.
Opening a position through the app is simple and straightforward. Users navigate to the market section and select their desired currency pair or tradable asset. The app’s dashboard features a horizontally scrollable watchlist, enabling users to directly trade tracked assets and currency pairs from there.
A standard Menu button in the top left corner provides access to the Trade History, open positions, Market section, and My AVA Account section. The app also offers a direct chat option with AVA support and various technical tools, including Pivot Points, MACD, RSI, and other indicators. Charts can be viewed in landscape mode.
The latest version of the AvaTrade GO Android app introduced several improvements, such as allowing users to choose from two display options on the homepage, enhancing app navigation, and adding a new instruments summary page. Additionally, “hot” trading instruments are now displayed in a separate list, but these enhancements have increased the app’s size slightly.
Interestingly, the iOS version of the app is much heftier in size at 109.6MB, despite its relatively simplistic nature. However, it compensates by supporting an impressive number of languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic.
The iOS app used to feature a $12,500 bonus upon its launch, and traders can access the Education Centre through the app to improve their trading skills on the go. The latest version of the AvaTradeGO mobile app also introduced some tweaks, enhancing app usability and security by adding an app lock with fingerprint/pass-code. Additionally, the Market Buzz, Economic Calendar, and Featured Ideas are now directly available through the menu.
Asset Classes
AvaTrade provides FX trading for over 50 currency pairs, offering a maximum leverage of 1:30 on these currencies. Additionally, the broker allows trading of bonds, stocks, indices, ETFs, and commodities through CFDs. AvaTrade boasts an impressive selection of indices, stocks, precious metals, energies, and agricultural commodities.
The cryptocurrency section stands out as the main attraction among the broker’s tradable assets. Traders can engage in CFD trading of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Litecoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Stellar. However, it’s important to note that actual cryptocurrencies cannot be purchased through the broker.
Both mobile apps support real money deposits, withdrawals, and account registration. The AvaTradeGO platforms boast a unique Market Trends feature.
Deposit & Withdrawals
To open an account with AvaTrade, a minimum initial deposit of $100 (if made by credit card) or $500 (if made by wire transfer) is required. Funding a trading account is possible through various methods, including debit cards, credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, JCB), POLi, and wire transfers. Electronic payments via providers like Paypal, Neteller, Webmoney, and Skrill are available for most clients, except those residing in Australia and the EU. Notably, a $100 minimum deposit can be made using Paypal according to AvaTrade’s customer support.
The broker offers a comprehensive list of deposit methods worldwide, including credit cards, wire transfers from banks like NatWest, Barclays, UniCredit, e-wallets such as Neteller, Webmoney, Skrill, and more. The availability of deposit methods may vary based on regulations in different countries.
Regarding withdrawals, users must log into their AvaTrade account and select “My Account” at the upper right corner of the website. The withdrawal form should be filled out carefully as per the instructions provided. After completing the form, users can submit it by clicking on “Upload Documents” within the “My Account” page. The withdrawal process typically takes 24 to 48 business hours to remove funds from the account and up to five business days for the funds to arrive in the receiving account. It’s worth noting that Saturday and Sunday are not business days for AvaTrade.
For those eager to begin trading promptly, the fastest way to fund an account involves using a Visa or Mastercard credit card. Certain documentation, such as a valid government-issued photo ID, utility bill, and clear scans/photos of credit or debit cards, is necessary to comply with anti-money laundering laws.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the AvaTradeGO Mobile Trading App provides a user-friendly and feature-rich platform for traders on both Android and iOS devices, offering access to a wide range of tradable assets and convenient tools for analysis and risk management. The AvaTradeGO Mobile Trading App supports real money deposits, withdrawals, and account registration, while also providing unique features like the Market Trends tool for traders’ convenience.
I registered just yesterday and I am new to trading. They asked me to fund my account ,which I did and since then I have been sending emails stating that I need assistance but no response from customer service š and this is really not nice.
Hi, what assistance do you need?
Also it can take up to more than 24 hours for their customer support to reply.
Have you tried calling them as well?
Does AvaTrade offer 40% bonus during Christmas?
Hi, they do for certain territories. Read their terms and service for more information.
The only way you know what a broker is like is from experience and i am with AVATRADE and i find them not good. Customer service is very poor with them. when i asked my account manager did they do bonus he said no that only scam companys do bonus. He promised to get back to me the following week in less than a week but i have not heard from him now in 2 weeks and i went into one trade with him. My view is that AVATRADE is only after the large investor. It was cold calling that i received from AVATRADE and she told me she would put me in touch with someone that would train me how to be a good trader but that has not happened. I will tell FCAin london about them. There head office is in DUBLIN IRELAND Regulation is IRELANDis very very weak and i know myself from experience with the CENTERAL BANK OF IRELAND.and i am from IRELAND myself, Would iike to hear your own views as to what you think about AVATRADE. I will finish Regards Gerry in IRELAND
As you can see AvaTrade is regulated all over the world by several regulators. If the regulator on Ireland is weak that is not AvaTrade’s fault and you should complain to your government about that.
It sounds like you have never traded before. Is that true?
How has your trading been going lately?
